Payment
King of Floors accepts Visa, MasterCard. Other forms of payment can be discussed.
Payment in full is expected at time of sale. Credit card charges are not posted
to your account until time of shipment.
Returns
Be sure to inspect all flooring items when delivered. All broken or damaged cartons
should be rejected and returned to the shipper. All returned goods are subject
to final inspection and approval at our facility before any credit is issued.
We try not to inconvenience you with any defective flooring items. But try
as we do, sometimes a defect occurs. Then, the following rules apply:
If any defect is evident at the time within 5 days of delivery but before
the item is installed, STOP and contact us immediately. We will issue a Return
Goods Authorization (RGA) Number which must then accompany the return of the
defective items(s) as we direct at your cost. Upon receipt, we will at our option
either replace the defective item(s) or credit your account or refund the purchase
price for the defective item(s). All returned goods are subject to final inspection
and approval at our facility before a credit is issued.
If the defective item(s) described in #1 above is(are) installed YOU OWN IT and
we will not authorize a return, a replacement, a credit or refund.
If a defect is not evident until after installation, then we will only consider
replacement or repair of the defective flooring or credit your account or refund
the purchase price for the defective flooring in the event that you notify us
in writing within three months of the date of delivery. Upon receipt of your
notice, we will investigate your claim and if we find that your claim is covered
by our LIMITED WARRANTY, then and only then will we replace the defective item(s)
or credit your account or refund the purchase price for the defective item(s).
We will have no responsibilty for any defect occurring after that three month
period or for any defect of which we do not receive notice within that three
month period.
The following rules apply for returns on non-defective products,
Returns or exchanges of hardwood flooring are accepted within 30 days of date
of delivery as full, unopened cartons minus a 25% restock fee of the original
product price.
We will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number which must then accompany
the return of the hardwood flooring as we direct at your cost.
Hardwood flooring moldings, installation or floor care accessories are NOT returnable.
Special order, custom made or discontinued materials are NOT returnable.
Material that has been cut, altered or installed is NOT returnable.
Website Graphics
Photographs or other graphics of flooring items on our website will never
adequately reproduce the actual quality of the flooring items, which we sell.
At best, photos and graphics are approximations and we cannot insure full accuracy
because flooring by its nature has differing degrees of gradations in color,
texture, graining and other natural features. Provided that flooring items are
within industry standards, we will not accept the return nor provide any compensation
or remedy for any flooring item, which you feel, may differ from what was depicted
from our website we provide as long as the differences are within industry standards.
Samples
All specimens by Seller as samples are intended only as an identification
of general and surface characteristics, the generic layout, color and finish.
Note, many wood species and grades of wood species have varying graining patterns
and coloring throughout the floor boards. Seller will not be liable for customers
dissatisfaction with such appearance issues, unless covered by specific manufacturer
warranty.
Natural Characteristics
Any product consisting of or containing any natural material sold by Seller
is subject to variations inherent in a natural product, such product will expand
and contract seasonally as well as with all changes in temperature and moisture.
Real wood possesses unique characteristics and gradations of color, graining
and other features which are hallmarks of nature's own materials. No such gradations,
variations or characteristics shall constitute a defect under the limited warranty,
or otherwise.
Changes and Cancellations
No order changes and cancellations are allowed unless we agree in writing
and on conditions we reasonably require. If cancellation of order is agreed upon,
a 15% fee of the original product price will be issued.
